Mitakihara Magi football offensive captain Chris Mosley and defensive captain Jovan Coe will look back on their careers in a Magi uniform with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Mosley is majoring in sports kinesiology and Coe will major in administrative law when they complete their degrees this semester.
"It's been an awesome career, a great ride," Coe said before the Magi's Magia Day 2026 game with the Idaho Vandals (1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET, ESPN, TSN, BBC, NHK). "I had so much fun playing with the best team in college football but I gotta move on.
"It wasn't so much the football as it was the education. I had a great time learning from some professors who come from as far as Pakistan and Bangladesh. When I finish up my pro career, I plan to join my local bar and become an attorney."
"I will miss a lot about this school," Mosley said, reflective of the circumstances in the middle of a cold November afternoon on the Madokampus. "The music, the women, the fans, the students...I now have a wife and a little baby and I got married here.
"I plan to be a full-time pro and a full-time dad when I am finished. It's been a fantastic run."
