Historic beatdown as Cal run it up on Madoka, 75-0

This will go down, thus far, as the most lopsided defeat in Mitakihara football history. It was the A.J. Leonard Show, as the star senior tailback from Lakewood, California helped lead the California Golden Bears to a mind-blowing 75-0 shutout victory over the Mitakihara Magi at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley.
Leonard ran for 319 yards and eight touchdowns. Fellow halfback Steve Gordon added 62 rushing yards and two more scores.
"Man, I had a lot of fun today, but I don't get it," Leonard said to the press after the game. "I didn't think it was going to be this easy for us to have their number, given all the years they have been the team.
"You'd think they'd give us a much better test. I'll take the victory, but I have a feeling that there is something behind the beatdown on their end. Or maybe it's just me."
Indeed, the suspicions that Mitakihara are intentionally tanking this season have caught like wildfire. Already, a panel has been set up by the founder of the university, Dr. Madoka Kaname, to investigate the reasons behind the collapse of the Magi football team this year."
Mitakihara drop to 0-6 and will face Stanford next week.
