Jenkins, Mitakihara rout Notre Dame, 122-55

Quarterback Leeroy Jenkins and Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi powered their way to a 122-55 blowout victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Mitakihara Stadium. Jenkins passed for 508 yards, rushed for 159 more, and scored six touchdowns through the air and on the ground. Halfback Tsuji Ikari ran for 179 yards and three touchdowns and fullback Robin Izumi ran for 125 yards and three more majors. Halfback Bryan Flowers and tight end Reece Narukami added two more scores on the ground.

Narukami led all receivers with four catches for 149 yards and two toichdowns. Wide receiver Andrew Blount caught six passes for 176 yards and a touchdown. Wideout Dominique Tyler caught a 34-yard pass for a score, while wideout Kenji Sugisaki added seven catches for 104 yards. Adrian Brant led all blockers with 29 pancakes.

Middle linebacker Kazero Otonashi led the defense with 20 tackles, a sack and a pick. Cornerback Charlie Orimura was relentless with his efforts in the secondary, making four interceptions. Linebacker Hazuki Hinata added six tackles for loss in the blowout win.

M-Town improve to 9-0 and take on Middle Tennessee State next week.
