Love is alive as Mitakihara crush Ohio State, 181-35

Love was indeed alive for Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi, who had no love lost for the Ohio State Buckeyes, who they ripped apart 181-35 at Mitakihara Stadium in "Rewind to the 90's" day. Quarterback Micah Wood passed for 477 yards and eight touchdowns while rushing for 129 yards and three more scores.
Halfbaclk Hunter Lester ran for 370 yards and five majors while catching six passes for 131 yards and three more touchdowns. Meanwhile, fellow halfback Chris Davis rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns. Davis also caught a 97-yard bomb for a major.
Wide receiver Brandon Young caught four passes for 165 yards and two scores, while fellow wideout Pat Jones caught two short passes for majors.
Young and right tackle Aaron Hollins led a vaunted Mitakihara blocking unit, recording 26 pancakes each. Left guard Brent Bailey added 21 pancakes.
On defense, middle linebacker Erik Davis made 26 tackles while cornerback Amir Mackey added three interceptions. Cornerbacks Anthony Pearson and Tom Davis and free safety Danny James added two picks each.
The Magi improve to 8-0 on the season and return to action next week against Arkansas State.
