A pouring rainstorm welcomed the Utah State Aggies as they face Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara, B.C. Utilizing a balance of pass and run, the first and second teams dismantled the Aggies, 213-35. "This was a good exercise for our players," Kaname told the press after the match. "Just about everyone got to play this game, so everyone had a good night out. We have another bye week next week before we go on our road trip."

Quarterback Rashaun Manning passed for 311 yards and six touchdowns while passing for 208 yards and two more scores. Halfback George Jackson ran for 216 yards and three touchdowns, starting QB Invalid Name ran for 231 yards and three majors and fullback Ibn Battuta ran for 159 yards and three more scores.

Eight different receivers caught at least one pass for a touchdown: wide receivers Johnny Dixon, Makoto Yasaka, Stephen Fuller, Chester Patterson and Rod Chase; halfbacks Akira Himenokouji and Tyrone Gay; and tight end Kimo Nishizumi. Left guard Mark Barnes led the blockers with 29 pancakes.

DeShawn Thompson led the defense with 14 tackles, while four other players had three sacks each. Free safety Karuta Kanda returned an interception 94 yards for a touchdown while returned four punts for 216 yards and three more majors.

Madoka improve to 4-0 and will take next week off before beginning a massive three-game road trip to Boise State, Colorado State and Hawai'i.
