Magi win one big sack party over Sparty, 121-37

Despite the offensive line of Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi surrendering eight sacks, a persistent, aggressive running game helped propel Madoka to a complete 121-37 victory over the Michigan State Spartans at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara, British Columbia.
Quarterback Siri Illuminati passed for 189 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 274 yards and three majors. Halfback Barrett Grant rushed for 237 yards and three scores, fellow halfback Baz De Jong rushed for 149 yards and two scores and halfback Andy Fields ran for 152 yards and two more majors.
Wide receiver Kunihiko Hatanaka caught four passed for 75 yards and a touchdown. The offensive line was led by left guard Colt O'Connor, who had 29 pancake blocks and only one sack allowed.
Middle linebacker Lemon Eyre led the Magi Morning Rescue defense with 16 tackles, six TFL and two sacks. Cornerback Hoochie Fanucci added two interceptions.
The Magi improve to 8-0 and continue their home stand next week against the Miami Hurricanes.
