Mitakihara beat Fresno State once again, 82-28

The one-sided Rivalry for the Rose Arrow Trophy continued with Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi pounding the Fresno State Bulldogs, 82-28, at Bulldog Stadium in Fresno, California.
Quarterback Leonard Gordon passed for 194 yards and two touchdowns, but the Magi ran it down the Fresno defense, Halfback Barrett Grant ran for 300 yards and three touchdowns while Gordon added 184 yards and two more majors.
Middle linebacker Jermaine Gates led the defense with 22 tackles and four sacks. Defensive tackle Oliver Sullivan added 11 tackles and four more sacks to lead the Magi pass rush.
"Overall, another solid performance by the second string," Kaname said after the match. "However, we're not yet done with our long road trip. We have a tough road trip to Austin, Texas next week against the Longhorns and our starters will need to be ready to do some more work running the football.
"Asude from that, I am quite pleased with this week's performance."
Mitakihara improve to 4-0 and will face the Texas Longhorns next week.
