Mitakihara blaze past North Carolina, 178-52

It was another business-as-usual night for Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi, who were buoyed by the return of quarterback Parov Stelar. The offensive captain throw for 630 yards and seven touchdowns while rushing for 334 yards and seven more scores as the Magi dismantled the North Carolina Tar Heels, 178-52, at Tatsuya Kaname Field at Mitakihara Stadium.
"This was one of Parov's better nights," said quarterbacks coach Harley Davidson. "After having a stinker against Florida State earlier this season, the DJ's case for the Heisman took a great leap forward. What a performance."
"I came into the match with a big chip on my shoulder," said Stelar. "I was really pissed with my performance the last few weeks, and I wanted to better myself. I could have done better without those three picks, but that's football.
"I hope to continue this hotstreak the rest of the year because I know my role as the captain of the team."
Fullback Jacques "The Lad" Ladouceur ran for 135 yards and four touchdowns. Wide receiver Jett Pinchback made six catches for 196 yards and two majors.
Middle linebacker Roman Kollar made 19 tackles and a sacke, while strong safety Wong Sidebottom added 18 more tackles.
As the Magi hit the halfway point in the season, they improve to 6-0 and will host the Wisconsin Badgers next week.
