Quarterback Leeroy Jenkins passed for 267 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 227 yards and four more scores as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi blew apart the Navy Midshipmen, 149-41, on a clear day at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara, B.C. "I had a great day guiding the offense," Jenkins said after the game. "It was a good day out for our offense, but we need to keep working at it."

Halfback Tsuji Ikari ran for 238 yards and three touchdowns, while halfback Bryan Flowers rushed for 205 yards and three majors. Wide receiver Kenji Sugisaki caught seven passes for 73 yards and a score. Guard Adrian Brant led the blockers with 26 pancakes.

Middle linebacker Kazero Otonashi led the defense with 23 tackles. Cornerback Charlie Orimura made four interceptions while left end Obi Johnson added three sacks.

"We did a good job running the system," said Coach Kaname after the game. "Navy are a good side and they woke us up early. We wore them down as the game went on, and the team got stronger and more determined. So credit goes out to everybody."

Next week, the Magi host Notre Dame.
