Mitakihara burn Miami, 85-20

Mitakihara burn Miami, 85-20

Quarterback Brian Brown passed for 380 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for117 yards and two more scores as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi grounded the Miami Hurricanes 85-20 at Mitakihara Stadium.
"Brian had an inconsistent game but we could afford him not being up to speed," said Kaname after the game. "We were crisp on offense and defense, and our kicking game was up to par.
"So we could afford not being on it. Next week, we face Alabama, and they are not an easy team to take down. We need to play like we played this week in order to have a chance."
Halfback Aaron Hogan ran for 196 yards and a touchdown, while wideout Johnny Rich ran for 120 yards and a major. Jett Pinchback led all wide receivers with 128 yards and a score.
Al Kaholic led the offensive line with 30 pancake blocks. Defensively, the Morning Rescue D of the Magi racked up 22 sacks. Middle linebacker Roman Kollar led all tackles with 19, but Lincoln McCandless had 6.5 sacks to go with 14 tackles. Also contributing to the cause was Wall Street, a.k.a. Wallace Johnson, who had five sacks on the day.
Mitakihara improve to 9-0 and continue their home stand against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
