Mitakihara destroy Oklahoma to win National Championship, 161-66

Quarterback Parov Stelar passed for 608 yards and six touchdowns while rushing for 186 yards and two more majors as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi won another National Championship by running it up on the Oklahoma Sooners 161-66 in the 2027 BCS National Championship Game in Glendale, Ariz.
"A great effort by our team, who wanted to flex its muscles one final time that they are, time and time again, the best college football team in North America," said Kaname after the game.
One major talking point was the decision to sit kicker Florence Southwick, who missed his first three field goal attempts and was benched for the first half.
"Well, my sister [Dr. Madoka Kaname] talked to Flo, and then she told me to bring him back into the game or I would be fired the next day," Kaname said. "At first I thought she was kidding, but actually, Sayaka [Miki, Mitakihara Athletic Director] did confirm that I would be sacked if I decided to bench Flo the rest of the game. So I decided to relent, let Florence finish off the game and he was back to making his kicks.
"I suppose even great players have off days. My kicker is no exception to the rule."
Fullback Jacques Ladouceur ran for 253 yards and two touchdowns, including a 100-yard scamper for a score. Wide receiver Kit Pinchback made seven catches for 239 yards and four touchdowns.
Mitakihara's defense made 22 turnovers and was led by cornerback Greg Altaloma, who made five interceptions including one returned 100 yards for a touchdown. Thorpe Award winner Rocko Dunphy added four picks while middle linebacker Roman Kollar added 15 tackles.
On special teams, fullback Remy Vachon returned a kickoff 74 yards for a touchdown while strong safety Wong Sidebottom returned a punt 60 yards for a major.
Mitakihara finish the season a cool, crisp, effervescent 13-0.
