Mitakihara drop seventh straight, fall to Stanford, 27-0

This season is starting to spiral out of control for Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi. Not only will they not defend their Four Corners, but they will not go bowling, and in addition to that, the 2031 season will go down as the first losing season in Magi football history.
Fullback Jon Houston ran for 162 yards and four touchdowns as the Cardinal shut out Madoka, 27-0, at Stanford Stadium. Mitakihara University President Homura Akemi was watching the game from her office on campus and elected to hold a special emergency board of trustees meeting approximately 30 minutes later.
In the meeting, the Board of Trustees confirmed that Board Member Sanae Dekomori had orchestrated a plot to place a huge amount of money on the Magi taking the first seven games of the season, including the loss to Stanford. The proceeds would have been used to bolster the school's endowment.
The process has been halted, and the money has been diverted to a number of charitable organizations selected by Akemi and the university founder, Dr. Madoka Kaname. Finally, Dekomori was formally expelled from the Board of Trustees and the Mitakihara family.
Tatsuya Kaname and his players were unavailable for comment. Immediately following the game, the players packed up and took the team bus to the airport to return to Canada.
The Magi drop to 0-7, their worst start to a season ever, and will return to action next week against the Navy Midshipmen.
