Mitakihara Homecoming 2029: Deny The Obvious And Uphold The Inane

September 24, 2029

Weekly Report Posted: December 10, 2012 02:13

The Mitakihara Homecoming Committee released the schedule for Mitakihara Homecoming 2029: Deny The Obvious And Uphold The Inane.

Homecoming committee chair Eita "E.K." Kidou was all smiles regarding a theme that he feels is sacred to the traditions of this young university.

"The phrase 'Deny The Obvious and Uphold the Inane' is a call to all Mitakihara students, faculty, staff and alumni to think outside the box, question the constraints in our society and tolerate what you least expect to be the norm," Kidou said. "Change the rules. Change the system. Why not rethink everything you have been taught and change it to something that is even better for society?

"Our students have been taught to deny the obvious and uphold the inane because as one of the most progressive universities in Canada, this is how we roll. This year, we finally show the world why we make it a habit, as members of the Mitakihara Family, to Deny the Obvious and Uphold the Inane."
