Mitakihara lose a heartbreaker to Arizona State, 13-6

Mitakihara lose a heartbreaker to Arizona State, 13-6

It wasn't as bad as the other defeats that took place earlier this year, but it still stung. Arizona State Sun Devil halfback T.C. Williams ran for 177 yards on 27 carries as he helped lead ASU to a 13-6 nailbiter over Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi.
"I honestly do not know what is wrong with this team," Kaname said. "This is completely in the Twilight Zone. This university is not used to this lack of effort from our players. I am at a loss for words, really."
There has been some rumor spreading around in the Vancouver area that this losing streak has been planned all along. Many fans have elected to give up their season ticket seats in protest of such compromised play.
The lone bright spot for the Magi was, once again, strong safety Shane Reed, who recovered another fumble for a touchdown.
Madoka drop to 0-4 and are in search of their first win when they face San Diego State next week.
