Mitakihara outwrestle Florida in the Swamp, 99-40

Quarterback Michael Wood passed for 409 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 296 yards and four more scores as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi tore down the Florida Gators, 99-40, at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. on Saturday.
"Micah's a proven leader, and he is just so much fun to watch," Kaname said after the game. "He puts in the time and energy to better himself as a player, and since this season is his only chance to win something meaningful, he is getting the job done.
"MIcah Wood might go down as the hands-down favorite to win the Heisman because he is able to beat opponents with his feet and arm. Dual-threat quarterbacks are very dangerous athletes on the field, and Micah is a true example of that."
Wide receiver Rickey Lee caught four passes for 141 yards and a touchdown, while fellow wideout Pat Jones caught four passes for 90 yards and two majors.
Middle linebacker Erik Davis led a staunch Morning Rescue defense for the Magi, making 12 tackles and two interceptions.Left end Deonte Graham added six tackles and four sacks on the day.
Madoka improve to 2-0 and will continue their road trip next week against the Texas Longhorns.
