Mitakihara put it all together against Illinois, 156-41

Quarterback Parov Stelar II, named offensive team captain for Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi, threw for 553 yards and eight touchdowns while rushing for 123 yards and two more majors as the Magi destroyed the Illinois Fighting Illini, 156-41, in a driving rainstorm in Champagne.
"Seems every time we have a game, there is a driving rainstorm," said Stelar after the game. "But we're a team accustomed to the elements and performing under the elements. We floored it in the first quarter and then settle down the rest of the match.
"Offense, defense, special teams...everyone pitched in to the victory, but it's never easy to make these efforts look easy. It takes a lot of hard work and effort, but everyone knows that. Why? Cause we're the Magi."
Haflback Barrett Grant, a rising sophomore tailback, led the receiving charge with 117 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The Pinchback Brothers, Jett and Kit, each had 29 blocks. And middle linebacker Roman Kollar had 24 tackles, while cornerback Park Jai-Young had 14 tackles and four interceptions.
Mitakihara continue their season next week on the road against the Florida State Seminoles.'
