Mitakihara roll past Central Michigan, 241-35

Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi saw production from their first and second strings en route to a 241-35 victory over the Central Michigan Chippewas in Mount Pleasant, Ohio. Halfback Tyrone Gay had a big day, rushing for 243 yards and four touchdowns while catching seven passes for 151 yards and two more majors.

Quarterback Invalid Name passed for 205 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 125 yards and three more majors. Backup quarterback Josh Carrington passed for 213 yards and two scores while rushing for 199 yards and four touchdowns. Fullback Ibn Battuta ran for 140 yards and a major. Also earning a score on the ground were halfback Mike Dorsey, halfback Akira Himenokouji, wide receiver Rod Chase, backup quarterback Rashaun Manning and tight end Kimo Nishizumi.

Halfback George Jackson caught five passes for 78 yards and a touchdown. Also with a catch for a score were Himenokouji, wide receiver Kunihiko Yoichi and wideout Stephe Fuller. Left guard Mark Barnes led the blockers with 28 pancakes. 

Middle linebacker DeShawn Thompson led the defense with 13 tackles and three interceptions, but it was left end Buntarou Okabe that came up big on defense, nabbing seven sacks. Right end Kazuyoshi Fujimoto had six sacks while cornerback Gene Mitaka added four picks and defensive tackle Confucius Muhammad had four sacks..

Madoka improve to 2-0 and conclude their nonconference slate next week to host the Alabama Crimson Tide.
