Mitakihara "Sandusky" Penn State, 108-21

Mitakihara "Sandusky" Penn State, 108-21

Although it's a taboo subject in many circles in the United States, the players of Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi made it very clear of the verdict regarding their 108-21 blowout victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions at Mitakihara Stadium.
"We Sandusky'd them," said halfback Giovanni Bautista, who ran for 105 yards and three touchdowns. "We gave Penn State a taste of their own death penalty by attrition. They're a good football team and that's nice, but they have not seen us in action, and we violated them all good and nasty because that's what we do to teams on any given day or night.
The words were met with slight disdain by the head coach of the Magi, but no administrative action will be taken.
"I think everyone is entitled to their opinion of what happened well over a decade ago with the incident regarding the late Jerry Sandusky, but we're not going to punish our players over their choice of words," Kaname said after the game. "We only punish them if they don't perform, if they are racist, homophobic, sexist...Gio's words are completely kosher in my book."
Immediately after the defeat, unrest took place in State College regarding Bautista's mentioning, with riots, looting, trash bin fires, the middle finger flashed, numerous streakers, and a shitload [sic] of arrests.
Quarterback Brian Brown passed for 358 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 266 yards and three more majors. Fullback Jacques Ladouceur added 93 yards on the ground and a couple of scores.
Wide receiver Kit Pinchback caught four passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns to lead the receiving game. Kit also led all blockers with 23 pancake blocks. Defensively, middle linebacker Roman Kollar led the way with 29 tackles and a sack. Free safety Rocko Dunphy and cornerbacks Park Jai-Young and Greg Altaloma made two interceptions each.
Mitakihara improve to 11-0 and will conclude their regular season next week when they host Notre Dame in the Battle of the Angels on Magia Day 2027, honoring the athletes from the Class of 2028.
