Mitakihara unfurl some banners in middle of 152-21 blowout of Indiana

It wasn't Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi demolishing the Indiana Hoosiers 152-21 at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind. in the pouring rain that infuriated the Indiana fans.

Before the fourth quarter, the Mitakihara student section unfurled a huge banner that showed Assembly Hall smoldering in flames in the manner of the Mount Carmel Center, the seal of the school on top through the flames, and on each side, the university founder Dr. Madoka Kaname and the current president Homura Akemi pointing their weapons at the crowd, ready to fire. Also, the entire student body did the Hitler salute.

That triggered some brawls between Madoka students and enraged Indiana students and while the Madoka students overpowered the hosts in terms on punching power, kicking power and brutality, many were arrested and escorted out of the stadium. The banner was folded up and placed back in the student support bus with the rest of the supplies.

Dr. Kaname and Akemi were not on campus, and were forced to apologize to Indiana University President Dr. Julie Kedzie via phone call. Dr. Kedzie accepted the apologies. Disciplinary action is set to be applied to the students responsible for raising the banner and creating it.

"In no way does the team approve our success in sports changed into that of an incident associated with the Waco siege, the Oklahoma City Bombing or 9/11," said Coach Kaname at the press conference. "I understand where all the boos were coming from, and the source of it. This is a poor reflection on the Mitakihara Family and stains the University's reputation in terms of class and professionalism."

Akiyuki Kaname passed for 251 yards and two touchdowns. Fullback Tim Wilcox rushed for 173 yards and three majors as the Magi second team got their first action of the season. Wideout Wendell Novak added five catches for 97 yards and a score. Right guard Jason Lewis led the blockers with 23 pancakes and a sack allowed.

Middle linebacker Bryan Green led the Magi defense with 18 tackles and a sack. Defensive tackle Travis Mays added 10 tackles and 3.5 sacks.

Madoka improve to 6-0 and will return home to host the Navy Midshipmen in Homecoming 2036.
