Mitakihara win 19th National Championship with 132-52 victory over USC

Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi completed a perfect season with a 132-52 victory over the USC Trojans at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California in the 2030 BCS National Championship Game. "Tonight was the night that our heroes would step into the linelight and become champions," Kaname said after the match. "They worked hard, they fought hard, and they got to this point in their career. I salute each and every one of them for the work they put into bettering themselves.
"They are the best bunch of men I have had the pleasure of working with and we wanted to do this for the seniors. All the best to them."
Quarterback Siri Illuminati passed for 446 yards and six touchdowns while rushing for 266 yards and three more majors. Halfback Baz De Jong ran for 114 yards and two more scores. Wide receiver Kunihiko Hatanaka caught five passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns, while offensive captain Patrick Means caught three passes for 57 yards and two more touchdowns.
"I'm on Cloud Nine," Illuminati said after the match. "Best feeling I ever had. I don't think I will ever forget the season I have had here playing for the Magi. This was amazing."
Strong safety Kory Stone made 19 tackles, including four TFL and two sacks. Defensive tackle Eric Bozeman was a workhorse, making four sacks.
The Magi conclude their season at 13-0.
