A number of records have fallen following the Mitakihara Magi's historic 125-24 walloping of the Alabama Crimson Tide at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Fla. The Magi have won their 29th BCS National Championship, surpassing the Princeton Tigers for most national championships in the history of college football.

The Magi will be competing in the Mountain West Conference next season as an associate member in football. However, the other athletics teams will remain with their current conferences, including the West Coast Conference and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
