Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi rolled to their 18th BCS National Championship after an 86-13 victory over the Air Force Falcons at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.
Quarterback Siri Illuminati, in his return from a torn pectoral injury, passed for 256 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 209 yards and four touchdowns. Halfback Aaron Jogan ran for 85 yards and three majors. Wide receiver Johnny Rich led all Magi receivers with five receptions for 105 yards.

"Overall, this was a tough game in the rain, but this team is a bunch of scrappers that live to play in these type of conditions," said Kaname after the match. "Tonight, we came into the contest with a businesslike mentality and we got it done.
"Once again, this is a credit to the best players on the continent, the best coaching staff on the continent and the finest university administration in Canada. Everyone in the Mitakihara Family contributed to this great victory for our university, our city and our fans."
The Mitakihara Magi finish their season 13-0, while WAC champions Air Force drop to 11-2 for the year.
