Remilia Scarlet, her sister Flandre and her partners have been summoned from Gensokyo to scout on the Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Scarlet household has been monitoring the 2035 college football season and have been looking forward to the opportunity to scout for the team they have been fans of since 2011.

"I think this is going to be a great experience to visit America and learn the process of scouting possible National Championship opponents," Remilia said on the flight to Indiana. "It's going to be a very fun experience but important to the university's football program."

"I understand that the Iowa Hawkeyes, who are facing the Indiana Hoosiers, are a very strong team because they feature a player that was recruited by the Magi," said Flandre. "But that's all I know."

"I am aware that Indiana are a solid football team and that everyone in Austin is pulling for them," said Patchouli Knowledge, the Scarlet household's librarian and archivist. "I think it's going to be an entertaining game and will answer that big question that a lot of Mitakihara students have been asking."

"Scouting opponents and getting immersed in the process is not something I don't do a lot often," said Sakuya Izayoi. "But we are assigned to specifically evaluate the performance of Iowa and note the impact players on the Hawkeyes team."

"There is a very good chance that Iowa will be the opponent Mitakihara face in New Orleans, but we've been instructed to be neutral and not sell Indiana short," said Hong Meiling. "We're ready to take care of business for the university we think will win it all. Again."
