The possible end of an era at Mitakihara University?

The possible end of an era at Mitakihara University?

"This one's for Coach Tatsuya!"
So said Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Micah Wood, who passed for 540 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for 311 yards and five more scores as the Mitakihara Magi won what could be the last game with Tatsuya Kaname at the helm, 195-35 over the Utah State Aggies in the 2031 BCS National Championship Game at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Halfback Chris Davisran for 305 yards and five majors, while halfback Hunter Lester ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Rickey Lee caught five passes for 139 yards and a score, while Biletnikofff Award winner Pat Jones caught four passes for 109 yards and two majors.
Lee also led the blocking game, with 30 pancake blocks. Outland Trophy winner Aaron Hollins added 23 pancake blocks.
Free safety Danny James led the tacklers on the Morning Rescue defense with 24 stops, while defensive tackle Brad Hill added six sacks. Cornerback Tom Davis added three interceptions.
"I am never going to forget the time I spent coaching these players," Kaname said after the game, trying to hold back tears. "These were the greatest two decades of my life, and I have no regrets over leading every team that I coached to a national title.
"I think the future of the program will be in good hands, whoever succeeds me. But we'll just have to wait and see."
The Magi finish their season with a record of 13-0.
