Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi were caught in an offensive shootout with the Fresno State Bulldogs on Saturday at Bulldog Stadium in Fresno, Calif. In the end, Madoka's offense and defense proved too strong, and it resulted in a big 136-84 victory to kickstart a busy November for the best team in college football.

Quarterback Invalid Name passed for 225 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 460 yards and seven more scores. Once again, the ground game was fantastic. Halfback Tyrone Gay ran for 305 yards and four majors, halfback Lester Stephens rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown, fullback Kohei Miyahara ran for 195 yards and two scores and halfback George Jackson ran for 55 yards and two majors.

Stephens and tight end Ryuta Kasugano caught a pass for a touchdown. Wide receiver Stephen Fuller had six catches for 77 yards. Wideout Kunihiko Yoichi led the blockers with 28 pancakes. Right guard T.J. King had 23 pancakes while allowing one sack.

On defense, middle linebacker Jackie Bezzina led the wa with 20 tackles and an interception. Other major tackles on defense were strong safety Harry Himemoiya (16 tackles), free safety Karuta Kanda (13 tackles) and cornerback Corey Montgomery (13 tackles).

Madoka improve to 8-0 and will host the UNLV Rebels in prime time next Saturday in Mitakihara Town.
