Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi faced a stern test against the Florida Gators, but Madoka were able to come up with big plays on offense and defense to come away big winners, 97-62, at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara, B.C.

Quarterback Invalid Name passed for 373 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for 217 yards and three scores. Halfback Lester Stephens ran for 108 yards while fullback, Kohei Miyahara rushed for 158 yards and a major. Halfback Tyron Gay ran for 90 yards and another touchdown.

Tight end Ryuta Kasugano had another big day on offense. He ran for 47 yards and a touchdown while catching four passes for 178 yards and three more touchdowns. Wide receiver Stephen Fuller led the receivers with seven catches for 117 yards and two majors. Also with a catch for a score were wideout Kunihiko Yoichi and halfback George Jackson.

Fuller led the blockers with 24 pancakes, while Stephens and Yoichi added 22 pancakes. On defense, middle linebacker Jackie Bezzina had 21 tackles and three sacks. Free safety Karuta Kanda had 12 tackles and two interceptions, left end Molly Priddis led the pass rush with five sacks and defensive tackle Androgynous Boogaloo continued his torrid run with three sacks.

"I'm really torn as to whether or not I should rest the starters next week against Connecticut or not," said Coach Kaname after the game. "It's most likely going to be a game-time decision. I really think this is going to be the year where we finally win the John Mackey Award. Ryuta's been nothing but amazing all season and we will try to find ways to feed him the ball this year."

Madoka improve to 2-0 and will host the UConn Huskies next week.
