After Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi roasted the Ohio Bobcats 142-37 at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara, B.C., the players were forced to run 74 laps for conceding a safety in the second quarter, as per team policy.

"Anytime you concede a safety at home, you have to run laps or you don't get to play the next game," said Coach Kaname after the game as the players went off to job in their track suits. "That's a long-standing team policy I imposed years ago, and if players elect not to run, they won't get to play next game.

"Obviously, the players want to play and that's why they are on the track doing their evening jog. Hopefully that is the last jog they will do this season because 74 laps is a lot, even for 99-level football players."

Quarterback Invalid Name passed for 187 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 370 yards and four more touchdowns. Halfback Kohei Miyahara added 247 rushing yards and four majors, while backup quarterback Jeff Gross ran for 191 yards and three touchdowns. Fullback Mike Dorsey ran for 158 yards and two majors.

Left tackle Travis Battle led the blockers with 25 pancakes. MIddle linebacker Jackie Bezzina led the defense with 20 tackles and an interception.

Madoka improve to 2-0 and will return to action in two week, when they travel to Logan, Utah to face the Utah State Aggies.
