Madoka rout Illinois, 164-28

Anonymous Anonymous passed for 352 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 464 yards and six more scores as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi ran over the Illinois Fighting Illini, 164-28, in the pouring rain at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara, B.C. 

Halfback Cory Jackson ran for 224 yards and three touchdowns, fullback Red Eilands ran for 128 yards and two majors, halfback Kyle Ryan ran for 70 yards and a touchdown, and wide receiver Dallas Williams rushed for 104 yards and a score.

Wideout Terrance Andrews led all receivers with five catches for 215 yards and three touchdowns. Williams caught three passes for 48 yards and a score and wideout Jack Dallaire caught two passes for 49 yards and a major. Andrews also led all blockers with 28 pancakes while right guard Phillip Smith added 25 pancakes.

Middle linebacker David Smith paced the defense with 19 tackles, three sacks and an interception. Cornerback Lee Matthews paced the ballhawks on the Morning Rescue Defense with three picks while strong safety Leon Farris added 17 tackles and two picks.

Madoka improve to 3-0 and will take the next two weeks off before kicking off their Mountain West campaign on the road against the Colorado State Rams.
