Mitakihara bowl past New Mexico 188-30

After starting quarterback Anonymous Anonymous took his leave at quarter time, six different players played quarterback for Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi, who ran past the New Mexico Lobos, 188-30 at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara, B.C. on Homecoming 2045. Backup quarterback Andre Spence broke his collarbone and will be out seven weeks.

Halfback Kyle Ryan ran for 173 yards and four touchdowns, backup quarterback Damion Roberson ran for 165 yards and two majors and fullback Allen Heinz rushed for 114 yards and two more scores. Despite rushing for negative yards, Anonymous scored a couple of touchdowns on the ground. Also with a rushing touchdown were Spence, halfback Cory Jackson, halfback Adam Johnson and halfback Brandon Williamson.

Wide receiver Dallas Williams led the receivers with three passes for 123 yards and a touchdown. Also with a receiving touchdown were Ryan and Heinz. Wideout Adam Dotson led the blockers with 20 panckaes while Williams added 19 pancakes.

Corner David Phillips led the defense with 11 tackles, four sacks, four interceptions and two defensive touchdowns. Right end Jake Crawford added three sacks while cornerback Mike Walker added 10 tackles, two sacks and two picks. Middle linebacker J.R. Cooper led all tackles with 17 tackles.

Mitakihara improve to 6-0 and return to action next week on the road against the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors.
