Mitakihara kick off 2045 with 108-42 win over Texas

Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi opened the 2045 college football season in the pouring rain at DKR-Texas Memorial Stsadium in Austin, Tex. Freshman kicker Doug Oliver kicked eight field goals including a career-long 48-yarder as the Magi routed the Texas Longhorns, 108-41.

"I had a great night tonight," said Oliver after the game. "I wanted to go ahead and test my leg, and it held out pretty well. Hopefully, I can kick a few more field goals this season because I can be of use."

Quarterback Andre Spence passed for 105 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 161 yards and two more scores. Starting gunslinger Anonymous Anonymous passed for 149 yards and touchdowns while rushing for 195 yards and three majors. Wide receiver Jack Dallaire caught six passes for 78 yards and a major.

Wide receiver Terrance Andrews led the blockers with 28 pancakes while Dallaire added 28 pancakes. Middle linebacker David Smith led the defense with 15 tackles, a sack and an interception. Defensive tackle George Lowery led the pass rush with four sacks while stronge safety Leon Farris added two picks.

Madoka improve to 1-0 and set the stage for a massive showdown with the top team in college football, the Florida Gators, at Mitakihara Stadium next week.
