Mitakihara roll past Boise, 131-56

The fans stormed the field as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi rolled past the Boise State Broncos, 131-56, at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara, B.C. in the 2044 Mountain West Championship Game. Quarterback Invalid Name passed for 291 yards and two touchdowns while he rushed for 344 yards and five more majors.

Halfback Kohei Miyahara ran for 206 yards and three touchdowns, fullback Mike Dorsey ran for 192 yards and four scores and wide receiver Terrance Andrews rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown. Wideout Jack Dallaire caught three passes for 85 yards and a score to lead the receivers.

Right tackle Bob Sternberg and tight end Rod Chase led the blockers with 30 pancakes, albeit Sternberg gave up a sack. Middle linebacker Jackie Bezzina led the defense with 20 tackles. Free safety Gene Mitaka had three interceptions while cornerback Corey Montgomery added two picks.

"I encourage all our fans to flood the field and join us in celebration every time we pull out a victory like this," said Coach Kaname. "Let all get together and celebrate football, sport, our university, our city, our province, our country, and life. And our job is far from done this year."

Madoka improve to 14-0 and will most likely face the Florida Gators in the BCS National Championship Game.
