Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi won the program's 32nd national championship in football, cruising past the Navy Midshipmen, 111-20. Quarterback Invalid Name passed for 423 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 199 yards and three majors. Halfback Kohei Miyahara ran for 90 yards and three scores while halfback George Jackson rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns.

Miyahara caught seven passes for 105 yards and a score while wide receiver Karuta Kanda caught three passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns. Also catching a pass for a socre was wideout Terrance Andrews.

Left tackle Travis Battle led the blockers with 27 pancakes, while wide receiver Charles Roland added 21 pancakes. Middle linebacker Jackie Bezzina led all tackled with 31 hits, while stronge safety Jerome Rose added three interceptions. Cornerback Core Montgomery returned two fumbles for 155 yards and two touchdowns.

"We had a great night out and the players deserved every piece of this championship," said Coach Kaname after the game. "They were stellar on both sides of the ball and we had a game plan and stuck to it. I salute everyone who supported us this season and hope to see them here in the National Championship Game next year."

Mitakihara conclude 2043 with a record of 14-0.
