Strictly run as Madoka ground Fresno, 94-31

The ground game was on showcast as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi rolled past the Fresno State Bulldogs, 94-31, at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara, B.C. Quarterback Invalid Name ran for 271 yards and three touchdowns, halfback Kohei Miyahara ran for 155 yards and three majors, fulklback Mike Dorsey ran for 164 yards and three scores, wide receiver Karuta Kanda rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns and wideout Terrance Andrews ran for 103 yards and a score.

Wide receiver Jack Dallaire led the receivers with four catches for 47 yards. Right guard Desmond Minor led the blockers with 26 pancakes while allowing just two sacks, while left guard Mark Barnes added 26 pancakes while allowing one sack.

Middle linebacker Jackie Bezzina led the defense with 24 tackles while stronge safety Harry Himemiya and cornerback Corey Montgomery added two interceptions each.

"I was disappointed in our passing because Invalid decided not to throw the ball a lot today," Coach Kaname said after the game. "But we didn't force any turnovers this game and it was a clean victory, so I suppese the coaching staff and I will take it."

Madoka improve to 8-0 and will face the UNLV Rebels next week.
