Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi were on point as they grounded the Boise State Broncos 158-24 on Homecoming 2046 in the pouring rain at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara, B.C. The reserves were on showcase as the starters got the week off. Backup quarterback Eric Jenkins passed for 176 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 495 yards and eight more scores.

Halfback Kyle Ryan ran for 208 yards and three touchdowns, fullback Trey Robinson ran for 47 yards and two majors, halfback Adam Johnson ran for 110 yards and a score and halfback Melvin Roawlins ran for a 60 yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

Ryan led the receivers with six catches for 54 yards and a touchdown while wide receiver Terrance Andrews caught two passes for 69 yards and a score. Also with a reception for a major was tight end Bobby Walker. Wideout Adam Dotson led the blockers with 26 pancakes.

Middle linebacker Nick Alston paced the defense with 16 tackles and three sacks. Cornerback Dave Landry added 16 tackles while fellow corner Christian Smith made four interceptions. Defensive tackle Brian Phillips was a menace on the defensive line with six sacks.

"The one aspect that we really need to work on is recovering onside kicks," said Coach Kaname after the game. "Our hands team did not do a good job at recovering the onside kick and were walking like blind mice in that Enron commercial from several decades ago. We can't use the rain as an excuse either; we have to do a better job at closing out a match by recovering onside kicks."

Madoka improve to 4-0 and host the Colorado State Rams next week.
