Mitakihara roll past the Lobos, 173-50

Quarterback Eric Jenkins passed for 217 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 228 yards and two more scores as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi rolled past the New Mexico Lobos 173-50 at University Stadium in Albuquerque, N.M. 

Fullback Trey Robinson ran for 225 yard and three touchdowns, halfback Kyle Ryan ran for 147 yards and two majors, halfback Adam Johnson ran for 46 yards and two scores, halfback Melvin Rawlins ran for 128 yards and two majors, wide receiver Charlie Carpenter ran for 35 yards and a score and tight end Bobby Walker ran for 89 yards and a major.

Wide receiver Avery Clark caught two passes for 102 yards and a couple of touchdowns. Also with a pass for a score were Robinson, Dotson and Carpenter. Wideout Terrance Andrews and right guard Michael Coleman led the blockers with 27 pancakes.

Middle linebacker Nick Alston paced the defense with 20 tackles and a sack. Free safety Matt Cronin, Jenkins and cornerback Joe Reed made an interception each. Four different players add two sacks each.

Madoka improve to 6-0 and return home to host the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors.
