Mitakihara slam Colorado, 117-42

Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi opened up the 2046 college football season with a 117-42 victory over the Colorado Buffaloes at Folson Field in Boulder, Colo. Quarterback Anonymous Anonymous passed for 293 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 188 yards and two more scores while backup Damion Roberson passed for 114 yards and two majors.

Halfback Cory Jackson ran for 219 yards and three touchdowns while halfback Kyle Ryan ran for 110 yards and two more majors. Also with a touchdown on the ground were fullback Red Eilands, Roberson and wide receiver Terrance Andrews, who led the receivers with five catches for 180 yards and a score.

Wide receiver Jack Dallaire paced the blockers with 29 pancakes, while right guard Jorge Whitlock added 23 pancakes despite surrendering two sacks. Middle linebacker Daiki Asuka III led the derense with 22 tackles while strong safety Nick Hill had three interceptions.

"This year, we are starting the season with a grueling road trip," said Coach Kaname after the game. "We are considering rotating fresh bodies next week, but since this is going to be a massive 1-vs-2 contest coming up, our starters will most likely play at the Shoe."

Madoka improve to 1-0 and will travel to Columbus, Ohio to face the Ohio State Buckeyes next week.
