Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi took to the air and the ground and steamrolled the San Diego State Aztecs in a snowstorm at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara Town, B.C., 234-20. Quarterback Haruyuki Arita passed for 581 yards and 10 touchdowns and ran for 238 yards and six more scores.

But it wasn't just The Pig that San Diego State's defense had a frustrating day trying to catch. Backup quarterback Nic Johnson ran for 142 yards and three touchdowns, halfback Rob Wade ran for 152 yards and three scores and fullback John Nelson rushed ror 259 yards and four majors. Also with touchdowns on the ground were halfback Tommy Washington and fullback Zach Howe.

The tight ends were on showcase on Saturday, and this marked Travis Murphy's breakout performance. Murphy made nine catches for 179 yards and six touchdowns. Washington also caught nine passes for 172 yards and a score, wide receiver Kelvin Sanders had seven receptions for 125 yards and three touchdowns and Biletnikoff contender Takumu Mayuzumi had four catches for 97 yards and two majors.

Sanders and wideout Timothy Fernando led the blockers with 28 pancakes each, while wideout Trey Lester had 14. Only a sophomore, right end James Curtis continued his historic career of quarterback sacks, delivering nine, all in the first half. Right end Brian Brown had five sacks while cornerback Tony Hubbard had four interceptions to lead the ball hawks. Cornerback James Reyes led in tackles with 12.

The Magi improve to 9-0 and conclude their home campaign next week in Magia Day 2050 against the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors.
