Madoka blow apart Colorado State, 185-34

Quarterback Haruyuki Arita passed for 394 yards and eight touchdowns as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi stormed past the Colorado State Rams, 185-34, on Saturday night at Hughes Stadium in Fort Collins, Colo. Backup quarterback Reggie Miller passed for 182 yards and rushed for 162 yards and three more scores.

Halfback Marques Murray was for 140 yards and two touchdowns, halfback Rob Wade ran for 130 yards and three majors and halfback Tommy Washington rushed for 85 yards and three scores. Wide receiver Takumu Mayuzumi caught 10 passed for 235 yards and three touchdowns, while wideouts Trey Lester and Timothy Fernando had two additional catches for scores each.

Fernando, in particular, led the blockers with 24 pancakes while wideout Kelvin Sanders added 19 pancakes. Cornerback James Reyes led in tackles on defense with 10, while left end Ryan Morris paced the team in sacks with four. Three other players had three sacks each.

Mitakihara improve to 5-0 and will face the Nevada Wolf Pack on the road next week.
