Madoka start November with 203-35 win over Aztecs

Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi began the month of November with a stellar 203-35 rout of the San Diego State Aztecs at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif. Quarterback Haruyuki Arita passed for 470 yards and 11 touchdowns and ran for 88 yards and another score. Arita's arm and speed makes him the best duel-threat quarterback in all of college football this year.

Ha;fback Marques Murray ran for 251 yards and five touchdowns, halfback Fred Jackson ran for 100 yards and a score and halfback Chauncey Wilson rushed for 42 yards and three short major runs. Wide receiver Takumu Mayuzumi also had a touchdown on the ground to go with three catches for 51 yards and two receiving scores.

Wideout Reggie McFadden led the receivers with eight catches for 250 yards and six touchdowns. Tight end Travis Murphy added three receptions for 83 yards and two scores and wideout Trey Lester had two receptions for 97 yards and a pair of majors. McFadden also led the blockers with 16 pancakes. while wide receiver Timothy Fernando added 14.

Strong safety Deonne Floyd had 10 tackles to lead the defense, but it was the pass rush that was the highlight. Left end Ryan Morris and defensive tackle Laron Wright had six sacks each.

Mitakihara improve to 10-0 and continue their road trip next week against the Hawai'i Raimbow Warriors.
