It's the Season of the Records, everybody!

A number of records have fallen this season following the Mitakihara Magi's 147-28 rout of the East Carolina Pirates in the 2051 BCS National Championship Game. The victory marked the football program's 38th national championship, the best in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision.
