In one of the lowest-scoring games in the history of Mitakihara Magi football, Tatsuya Kaname's Rose, Pink and White delivered in the clutch to defeat a brave Boise State Broncos team 24-7 in Homecoming 2052. Quarterback D.W. Hinoi was the hero, passing for 111 yards and rushing for 155 yards and three touchdowns, including two in the fourth quarter that iced the game.

Wide receiver Takumu Mayuzumi caught three passes for 76 yards, while fellow wideout Trey Lester led in blocks with 12 pancakes. Right outside linebacker THomas Pittman led the defense with seven tackles and a sack.

"This was not an easy opponent to defeat, and with the game being set to five-minute quarters, the room for error was minimal," said Coach Kaname after the game. "But we were able to deliver and get the job done and now we head into our designated rivalry game with Fresno State on a high."

Mitakihara improve to 7-0 for the year and travel to Fresno State next week.
