Hinoi, Mitakihara slam door shut on Nevada, 157-14

Halfback D.W. Hinoi passed fpor 279 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 263 yards and five more scores as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi ran it up on the Nevada Wolf Pack, 157-14, at Mackay Stadium in Reno, Nev. Halfback DeMarcus Washington ran for 335 yards and five touchdowns while halfback Michael Wilkerson ran for 324 yard and five more majors.

Wide receiver Trey Lester led the receivers with six catchesd for 82 yards and also led in blocking with 30 pancakes. Wideout Jon James had 25 panckaes, while wideout Takumu Mayuzumi added 21. Middle linebacker Jeff Nakazawa led the defense in tackles with 20, defensive tackle LaRon Wright added four sacks and strong safety Vince Wolfe had a couple of interceptions.

"Our players have shown that they are all business when it comes to conference play," said Coach Kaname after the game. "We went back to the Spread Option playbook and it has yielded some fantastic results on the ground. D.W. suffered a knock in the third quarter so we weill check on his condition when we head back home. Hopefully it isn't anything too serious."

Mitakihara improve to 6-0 and host the Boise State Broncos next week in Homecoming 2052.
