After a dismal first half which saw Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi eke out a 7-3 halftime lead, Coach Kaname let his players hear it inside the locker room at Hakurei Centre.

"That was a shit performance, shit results, gentlemen," Coach Kaname said. "You are all better than this. I want that changed when the second half begins. Haru, throw the ball with better accuracy, as if your life depends on it. And defense, go after their quarterback and punish him. Whatever you do, I want those fuckers humilated. Destroy them all. Now quit fucking around and get to work. We're not messing around here any more. Let's go!"

Coach Kaname's passionate, yet vulgar rhetoric was effective, as the Magi reeled in 56 unaswered points en route to a 63-3 smashing of the Utah State Aggies at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara Town, B.C. Quarterback Haruyuki Arita, despite throwing two interceptions, passed for 416 yards and seven touchdowns while rushing for 70 yards and another score.

Wide receiver Trey Lester led the receivers with four catches fopr 171 yards and three touchdowns while wideout Jon James added three catches for 97 yards and two majors. Wideout Matt Lewis led the blockers with nine pancakes. Defensive tackle LaRon Wright led the pass rush with four sacks on the day.

Mitakihara improve to 5-0 and take the week off before returning to action on October 18 against the Nevada Wolf Pack at home.
