Madoka go to the air in 238-14 rout of BYU

The Pig was at it again in his ongoing chase towards history. Quarterback Haruyuki Arita passed for 738 yards and 19 touchdowns while rushing for 189 yards and three more scores as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi demolished the Brigham Young Cougars, 238-14, at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah. 

Halfback Michael Wilkerson ran for 99 yards and two touchdowns and halfback DeMarcus Washington had a trio of short touchdown ruhs, but it was a trio of receivers that came up big on the night. Wide receiver Jon James caught 12 passes for 307 yards and eight touchdowns, wideout Trey Lester had five catches for 199 yards and five scoresa and wideout Takumu Mayuzumi had another five catches for 149 yards and five majors.

James also led the blockers with 23 pancakes, while wideout Matt Lewis added 10 pancakes. Defensive tackle LaRon Wright came up big on Saturday, with eight tackles and seven sacks. Middle linebacker Ray Williams added five sacks on the night, while cornerback Gir Todafunk returned an interception 20 yards for a score.

Finally, the special teams was clutch. Backup halfback Kevin Walker returned a kickoff 81 yards for a touchdown to open the scoring and he also added a punt returned 43 yards for a major. Overall, this was a complete performance from the offense, defense and special teams of the Best College Football Team in All of College Football.

Mitakihara improve to 2-0 and return to action next week on the road against Penn State.
