Quarterback D.W. Hinoi passed for 219 yards and three touchdowns as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi shut out the Nevada Wolf Park, 77-0, at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara Town, B.C. Halfback Chaz Thoams ran for 94 yards and two scores and halfback Michael Wilkerson ran for 74 yards and two more majors.

Wide receiver Kevin Cronin caught five passes for 134 yards and a touchdown, wideout Matt Lewis caught four passes for 45 yards and a score and wideout Jeff Scott caught four passes for 34 yards and a major. Left guard Kyle Samford led the blockers with five pancakes while center Ryan Hudson and right guard Harold Roberts added four pancakes each.

On defense, middle linebacker Roman Evans led the defense with six tackles and a sack. Defensive tackles Ryan Bowers had two sacks and two forced fumbles, while left end Skyler Rankin recovered two fumbles for touchdowns. Cornerback Quinton Reese also returned an interception 27 yards for a score late in the game.

"We get a little bit of time to rest easy but the following week, we need to get back to work and prepare for our rivalry game with Fresno State," Coach Kaname said after the game. "I think the players have done a good job utilizing the Apple Pistol, and hopefully we can do it again in the next match. However, that will likely be the last time we try that one. We'll have to wait and see."

Mitakihara improve to 7-0 and conclude their long home stand on Oct. 30 against Fresno State.
