Madoka ease past Air Force, 82-21

Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi went to the run-and-shoot and rolled past the Air Force Falcons, 82-21 at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Spring, Colorado. Quarterback D.W. Hinoi passed for 477 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 216 yards and three more scores. Halfback DeMarcus Washington ran for 226 yards and four majors in the rout.

Wide receiver Matt Lewis had 10 catches for 135 yards, while wideout Jon James had 11 receptions for 98 yards and two touchdowns. James also led in blocking with 31 pancakes, while Lewis added 26. Cornerback Nathan Sims led in tackles with 14 . Defensive tackle Ryan Bowers had six sacks and left end Ryan Hodge added five sacks to pace a solid pass rush. 

"Defensively, we really put the clamps down on Air Force because they were forced to throwing the ball," said Coach Kaname after the game. "But we know that we can throw the ball as well, and D.W. did the work with his feet and his arm. Overall, I'm pleased with how we managed the Falcons today and I look forward to more of the same next week against Nevada."

"We really connected on the passing game and I had a great day passinhg the ball," said Hinoi after the game. "We're starting something up at this point in the season. We're close to the halfway point, so we are hoping to keep this going when we take on the Wold Pack."

Mitakihara improve to 6-0.
