"We must finish this season for the one who will leave us!" shouted quarterback D.W. Hinoi to Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi inside the locker room of War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyo. prior to their 227-28 annihilation of the Wyoming Cowboys. "Dr. Kaname may no longer be our chancellor, but we must do this for her, for Ms. Akemi, and for Coach! What do you say?"

"Heeeeeeeell yeah!" roared the players, inspired by the energy and drive they get by keeping the woman who built this great university in their hearts. And they did it with a balance of running, passing and defending, with plenty of happy returns and fluid execution. Hinoi passes for 375 yards and five touchdowns in the rout, to go with 104 rushing yards and five more scores.

Halfback Chaz Thomas ran for 261 yards and four touchdowns, halback Michael Wilkerson ran for 84 yards and three majors and halfback Beau Day ran for 119 yards and three more scores. Wide receiver Jeff Scott caught six passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns while wideout Jeff Cronin caught four passes for 207 yards and three more scores. Wideout Patrick Cox led the blockers with 26 pancakes.

Quarterback Dylan Maxwell led the defense in tackling with nine tackles, but it was cornerback Gir Todafunk that put a bow on this defensive performance. Todafunk made three tackles and six interceptions, three of which were retrned for scores. Strong safety Nick Malceski and Trevon Miller had three picks each. In addition, Todafunk returned four punts for 134 yards and another touchdown.

Madoka improve to 11-0 and take on the UNLV Rebels next week in Magia Day 2055, honoring the Class of 2056.
