Madoka roll past New Mexico, 164-67

Quarterback D.W. Hinoi passed for 278 yards and five touchdowns and backup Dylan Maxwell ran for 299 yards and three more scores as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi rolled past the New Mexico Lobos, 164-67, at University Stadium in Albuquerque, N.M. 

Fullback Stephen Atkins led a strong ground game with 86 yards and five touchdowns. Halfback Michael Wilkerson ran for 106 yards and another major. Five also players also gain a score on the ground. Wide receiver Matt Lewis caught six passes for 175 yards and four touchdowns, while wideout Jeff Scott had four receptions for 100 yards and a score.

Scott led the blockers with 22 pancakes, while wideout Patrick Cox added 21 pancakes. Middle linebacker Todd Sparks led an aggressive defense with 11 tackles, while cornerback Quinton Reese added 10 tackles. Defensive tackle Ryan Bowers had three sacks, while cornerback Gir Todafunk returned a kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown.

Mitakihara improve to 3-0 and head home next week for Homecoming 2055 against Duke.
