Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi went to the pistol today and elected to go easy on the UNLV Rebels in their 59-14 victory at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara Town, B.C. on Magia Day 2055. Quarterback D.W. Hinoi passed for 254 yards and a touchdown and ran for three more scores in the blowout. Halfback Chaz Thomas ran for 57 yards while halfback Michael Wilkerson ran for 68 more yards.

Tight end Deon Tanner caught four passes for 67 yards and a touchdown to lead the receivers. Left tackle Evan Lightfoot led the blockers with eight pancakes while defensive tackle Ryan Bowers led the defense with five tackles and two sacks. Halfback Brian Brooks returned a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown while cornerback Gir Todafunk returned a punt 53 yards for another score.

"We put in a good performance, and the team decided to dedicate this victory to my sister, who will be retiring from university life by the end of this calendar year," Coach Kaname said. "We wanted to try the pistol one more time, and it yielded decent results. However, UNLV are a very good team and we needed to be on our game to get past them. We look forward to the next game here at the stadium. Should be an exciting one."

Madoka improve to 12-0 and await their opponent in the 2055 Mountain West Conference Championship Game.
