Quarterback Dylan Maxwell passed for 253 yards and seven touchdowns and ran for 81 yards and two more scores as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi ran past the San Diego State Aztecs, 104-7, on Homecoming 2054 at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara Town, B.C. Halfback Michael Wilkerson ran for 81 yards while fellow halfback DeMarcus Washington added a pair of touchdown runs.

Wide receiver Kevin Cronin caught four passes for 123 yards and three touchdowns. Five other receivers, including Wilkerson, also caught a pass for a score. Right tackle Jermaine Roberts and left tackle Evan Lightfoot led the team in blocking with six pancakes each, although Lightfoot did allow a sack lat.

Defensively, the Morning Rescue Defense was rather quiet, but a few players did register on the stat sheets. Defensive tackle Ryan Bowers led the defense in tackles with four and two sacks, while right end Nick Colvin added three sacks to lead a consistent pass rush. Credit should be given to San Diego State this game; they did not surrender any turnovers and were efficient when they had the ball.

Regardless, Mitakihara improve to 9-0 and return to action next week when they host the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors in prime time.
